Termination or early release of supervised probation
I am on supervised probation for driving while barred until July of 09' . But my p/o says I have to have most or all my fines paid before then to get off probation. That would be no problem if I lived in another place for the town that I live in is over populated and not enough work. I keep getting laid off from jobs due to the bad economy here. I want to move out of state to somewhere where there are better jobs and more stable economy. What can I say to the judge to terminate my supervised probation?
I've tried going to the Governor for a pardon , but he says there's nothing he or the state can do. The only way I am going to survive and pay my fines at the same time , is to move to a better place. It will be punishment enough for me to have to leave my daughter behind and not see her as often won't it? Does this country have no more morals?
    Please help!

    Hello Jesse:

If there's a place that has better jobs, you can get your probation transferred there. But, it's not as easy as it sounds. Before they transfer you, you're going to have to have a job and a place to live... Doesn't sound like you can get that...

So, you're stuck. Doesn't have anything to do with morals. Has to do with cash. Try collecting cans, or washing dishes. I don't know.

That's the thing , I had a job offer and a place to live earlier this year. My p/o said it wouldn't fly because I haven't lived there before. My chain is being pulled in too many directions. And I am needing to move because it is Iowa.. cold snowy icy weather. Can exactly sleep outside.

You can't just get terminated from probation because you think it's a good idea to live elsewhere. You'll just have to keep plugging away and pay off your fines so you can ask for early termination. You'll have to convince the Judge as he's the one who decides early termination.
