    Sealing a tapped copper pipe
I need to seal a tapped copper water pipe after I remove the tap and water tube. How do I seal the tapped tube?

Only permanent solution is to leave the SADDLE VALVE in place (cap the 1/4" compression fitting) or you will need to cut the pipe at the tapping and use a sharkbite or gatorbite type of push coupling to connect the cut ends.

I recommend installing the coupling for best results!

These are available at all home supply stores today.
