I recently found that there was antifreeze escaping somehow from the radiator, Is there some way to fix it? Other tthan replace rad?

If your sure it's the rad and not water pump or hoses, there is a couple different short term solutions referred to has rad stop leak you pour it into your rad when it's cool start up your van bring it to operating temperature
It will find the leak and plug it.
