    Shower nut
Hi,I have a stuck nut that goes under the drain of a shower for some unknown reason it will
Not come loose,I even took a screwdriver and hammer and it still will not come loose, the
Only thing I can think of is it might have something on the threads.
The last thing I want to do right now is to cut the abs drain but maybe I may have to as this
A new shower going in,also the reason to take drain apart is the has lip as in a bit high at
The so the shower will not totally drain all of the water, thank,s

Take wood chisel and hammer. Put chisel on the nut and gently tap it so it cuts through the nut. It will snap. Do the same on the opposite side.

Milo's correct. The drain retaining nut's made of plastic (see image).
