    Adding an independent motion sensor
I want to upgrade my existing exterior lighting to include an independent motion seņor and addition lighting fixture in the car port.

Existing power fed through a single pole switch inside the house to an exterior light fixture next to the front entrance (2 wire grounded). I would like to leave the light fixture as is and extend the circuit from the exterior fixture box to add a motion sensor approx. 20 feet away and the run to an additional light fixture approx. 10 feet further away from the sensor to light the car port and driveway. I would like to have the sensor control both the existing and proposed light fixture. Thus the final layout would be power fed through single pole switch to light fixture then to sensor then to fixture. I want the interior switch to maintain manual control of the entire circuit.

Is this feasible? If so, can someone please provide the correct wiring diagram/connections required at each box. See attached layout.

Run a three wire cable, black red white, with ground, from switch and sensor. Run a two wire between both lights.

    See attached wiring diagram:

Note the power goes through the switch before going to the sensor, many sensors use thie switch to signal a bypass of the sensor.
