    Touched by angels
This poem is in memory of the baby my partner's 18 year old daughter lost on Christmas Day by miscarriage.

    "sometimes miracles arrive
so tiny that we cannot feel
    the weight of them –
and yet we are still changed,
and we are blessed none the less…"

Frangi, I am so sorry for her loss, but you know the old cliché 'there is always tomorrow'. She has a long time ahead of her to try again and succeed.

Her pregnancy was complicated from the beginning, Tickle. She showed a lot of courage wanting to keep her baby and in the past few weeks was more content and optimistic about facing her future. Knowing that, she does have a long way ahead of her and once she rebuilds her life afresh, has a lot to look forward to including her own family one day with the right man.

Frangi, sorry for the loss of the baby. I know sometimes a miscarriage can carry on from the mother to others involved in her life. I tell my friends whom have had a misarriage, that I too have had 4 of them, and still I have been blessed with four healthy, smart, and gorgeous kids;) Like Tickle I have an old cliche' "things happen for a reason"

    HUGS!

Thanks for that startover. She would appreciate knowing that, I'm sure. At the moment she's preparing to return to study in a few weeks time and from what I hear, is settling down well. She has her mum and dad, her sister and brothers giving her a lot of support. And an 'amazing' guy who has been desperately in love with her for a few years and has always been there for her... just amazing.

You must have really wanted all those children to have endured four miscarriages and delivering all those four babies, Starty. That's a lot'a of love ;):)

Oh, that's great to hear. I do apologize for not seeing this sooner. Uh, yes, I do love being pregnant and enduring what it takes to make it all happen! Love those babies:)
Also when it comes down to it, I do so realize that when everything happened, good or bad, I finally got to find out what those reasons were. So I stand by... "everything happens for a reason. Look hard enough and you will find it;)
    Hugs to you my friend
