I am going to inheritate some money from my uncle I live in California. Is my spouse entitled to any of my inheritance? Do I have to share this with him? Thank you

Yes I am still married, and yes still living together. Yes the reason is he is spending this money that I inherited like crazy and I can't stop him. But if he is not entitled to my inheritance, then I will be able to completely stop this. Please let me know if he is not entitled to my money. Thank you

While you are married, merely put it into a bank account without his name on it. While married, he can not force you to give him any of the money.

If he decides to divorce you, then he may get part of it depending on many factors.
