    No period/black discharge/discomfort
I have not had my period in over 4 months, and I wasn't too worried because I'm very irregular.

Although now I've been experiencing white discharge (all types, thick/thin, foul smelling) for the past 4 months. About a week ago, it turned brown and now black. The area is not red or inflamed and I have no pain during urination.

I've been having overall discomfort (not cramps, more of a dull stabbing pain) in my pelvis and needle-like sensations in the center of my abdomen, below my naval. My lower stomach feels tender/stiff to the touch, but not painful.

I'm very worried now. I'm 16 years old and have never been sexually active.

    What's going on?

You can't be diagnosed over the internet.

Therefore, you need to see a doctor right away. Your symptoms sound like an infection of some sort.

The only way it can heal is by proper medication.

If you want the visit to be confidential... you should visit a planned parenthood. They can help you.

Tell your parents now. Since you are not having sex they won't be mad at you. Sounds like a very bad infection. Is it possible that you left a tampon in? I would not wait. It can only get worse!

Sometimes you can get an infection from using some types of painkillers and that will affect your period
Its just a natural mistake that some of us don't think it can happen but it does anyway check it with your GP and don't worrie since you are not sexually active at this age which is fantastic as lots of other girls don't seem to care about them at all
Or you might want to ask your mum and see if any of your symptoms might have been running in the family
