Timing Belt 2003 Intrepid ES 3.5 litre
I have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid ES model with a 3.5 litre engine. It has 98,350 miles on it and I was wondering how reliable this engine is when it comes to the timing belt and it's durability? I have maintained the car the way one should, changing oil every 3-5 thousand miles and rotating the tires as well as other minor preventive maintenance items. Should I be concerned about the timing belt breaking anytime soon? I have a road trip next month and I am trying to decide weather to get it changed before I go on the road.

I'd replace it every 90,000 miles or 7 years, whichever comes first. Therefore, I figure you are on borrowed time.
