I have had the Mirena IUD in since July 08 and I have a normal period for the first 2months. I now have not had a period since September! I took a pregnancy test in Mid- OCtober and both tests came back negative. I haven't taken a test since and still have not had my period. Do you think that its possible for me to be pregnant?

It's possible. Take another hpt, use first morning urine or go to your doctor for a blood test.

We have a wonderful nurse on this site, I'm sure she could give you the answer, unfortunately she's at work right now.

The thing is, you're not even sure that you are pregnant. Find out what's going on first, whether you are pregnant, your doctor can help you figure things out from there.

I wish I could tell you more. No one here can tell you whether you're pregnant though, but I can tell you this, no form of birth control is 100% effective, so yes, there is a chance that you're pregnant, albeit a smaller one than if you had unprotected sex.
