Trying to find the name of a movie, circa 1970s, father and son are on a raft, father falls into the water, boy gets hit with radiation. During the movie a chance encounter with a wolf shows the wolf can smell something wrong with the boy. Movie ends with father coming home and the boy is opening presents under the xmas tree, but the boy had died years ago and you can hear wolves howling in the background.
