    Appliance control EE081
I have the appliance control model ee081 to control 4 Halogen lights in glass cabinets. Recently they all went out at once. To determine if it was the bulbs or the control until, we bypassed the control unit and plugged the individual plugs into an extension cord and then plugged it into an outlet and all lights went on. How do I know if it is the unit that is not working or the touch switch that is bad?

Since you bypased the control and all the lights worked, seems the control is defective.

I get that this was purchased at Home Depot. You should be able to return it for a replacment.

I had the same thing happen. If you open the control unit you will find a fuse which needs to be replaced. Hope this helps!
