I'm 41 and really want to become an RN. What is holding me back is the math. I know basic math. Here in Arizona you need to pass College Algebra in order to get into nursing school. I checked with Sylvan... they don't teach adults. Should this stop me? I'm about half way down with my pre-reqs, but that math issue scares me very much.
I would be an excellent nurse. How would I even begin to teach myself the math I need to know?
