Can belts be changed on Dyson DC07?
I cut the belt that drives the bar thinking it would be easy to replace. Now it appears the clutch assembly has to be replaced. Is this true? Is there no way to take apart the clutch assembly as to replace just the belt?

    Thanks,

My understanding is that the cartridge will have to be replaced. Do a search on this site for more info.

I think your getting bored by answering in the appliance forums.

I had to fix mom's car today and I didn't have a T20 tamper proof Torx. Oh wait a minute, I purchased a star bit security set. And I had to really read the fine print to see the words "Security bit".

MAF sensor was dirty. Why tamper-proof?

Took me three guesses to find the right fuse to pull to reset the MIL.

Those security sets are nice to have around. It is kind of like my universal electric and gas meter lock key set.
