    Won't drink
What do I do when my dog vomited up tiny little finishing nails?

The vet's closed, but he's still eating and playing, he just hasn't been drinking these past few days, my daughter made him drink a bit of water earlier.

Is he eating? Stools normal? Any sign of blood you need to find an emergency vet ASAP. Try ice cubes to hydrate and wet food.
When did he vomit the nails?

He vomited through the night, he ate cookies after that , drank water this morning and did have a bowel movement. No nails in the stool. He's happy and playing like normal. So, I will call the vet tomorrow when they open just to have him chacked over. Any other comments?

You must keep him hydrated. Get a plastic syringe from the drugstore, and give him water that way, until you can get him to the vet VERY first thing in the morning, if you can't get him there today! These nails could very well be punturing his intestines, and be stuck. He might be vomiting, and then eating to try and force them out, making matters worse. Just because he is eating and playing doesn't mean he is okay. This could worsen very quickly.

The vomiting makes me very nervous, could mean an obstruction or worse. I would find the nearest animal hospital and go NOW. I know it can cost more for an emergency visit, but I just found a vet with hours on Sunday for my dog's pink eye. Call around, if not please try to pay the extra for an ER - it's not worth the risk of waiting in my opinion. Please let us know how your dog is doing.
