For long time I've benn in love or rather I was leaving in a hope state that my guy will do something but its long story the point is lately we met and after that I wrote somth he wrote somth and than he said that he can be only friend I decided that I can't hold on to him all my life and I wrote him that I can't be his friend because its to painful and if he wants me to forget about as a potential lover I can't see him never again I thanked him for all amazing moments I had with him he borrowed from me some money I told him I don't want them back and I asked him to respect my decision and the thing is I didn't get any answer what does it mean

He might be just respected your wishes because you told him that you can't be his friend. I think you're doing the right thing for now.

Also, it doesn't matter if he rsponsed to your request because your doing this for you. He might not even care so just move on. You wrote what you wanted to say. That's your closure.

You don't know how many people would remain friends with someone knowing that they still have feelings for someone and only hurt themselves. You made a wise decision.
