    Dropping Child Support
Does anyone have any idea about how long it takes to drop child support and what is all involved? This would be in the state of New Jersey.

    Thanks

    1. You remarry and your ex agrees to let your new spouse adopt.
    2. Your kids get old enough that child support is over.

What do you mean drop child support ? Are you obligated and looking to end it or are your child / children approaching the age of majority ?

No, it's my husband and his ex-wife. Neither of them like the way it's being handled and she has called about having it dropped and him and her taking care of it themselves out of court between themselves. She has called and they said they would have to have a hearing or something is all I know. I try not to get in the middle of it that's why I came on here to ask... It's between them two, not me really.
