    Temporary hair dye
My hair is pretty much like a chocolate brown and I want to dye it a darker brown but not permenently. What is the best temporary dye I can use and it is ont going to damage my hair is it? I am okay if it never washes out completely because it will still be brown I guess right?

I use Natural Instincts as I like to change my hair color semi-frequently. It's has no ammonia and very little peroxide, so it won't ruin your hair's integrity. They have 2 types: one that washes out in about a week, and one that lasts about a month.

If your hair has already been dyed, going over it with this shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure to avoid loud colors, as damaged hair will reflect this hue more intensely.

I think since you're not changing your color drastically, you have no cause to be nervous.
    Have fun!

To get a darker brown with absolutely no damage to your hair, you should try a rinse. A rinse has no harsh chemicals at all, I do a purple one right after I perm my hair. It washes out gradually and they are crazy cheap... like 4 bucks. :)
