Adjusting my TOTALINE Residential Thermostats (P/N P374-1800)?
I have a question about my TOTALINE Residential Thermostats (P/N P374-1800).

Since the thermostats were installed last year, when set on "automatic" they both function as follows:

    1) It requires a 2 degree difference in temperature to activate either the heat or cooling.

    2) In other words, if it's set at 68 degrees, and it's 68 degrees in the house, the heat won't go on until the room temperature drops to 66 degrees.

    3) Conversely, if it's set at 68 degrees, and it's 68 degrees in the house, the air conditioning won't go on until the room temperature rises to 70 degrees.

    4) Is there a setting that I can change to reduce the 2 degree difference -- to only 1 degree? I re-read the manual again and this doesn’t seem to involve either the "Heat/Cool Differential" or the "Deadband." However, it's confusing -- and maybe I'm missing something.

    Can you provide any advise/instructions?

    Thanks for your help.
