Allowed to marry even if there's "No AOS" on I-94?
Hi, I entered the US on Oct 2 as a tourist and was given 6 months to stay but immigration wrote "no AOS allowed" on my I-94. They thought I was intending to stay too long because I arrived in Oct 2 and my return ticket says Feb 13, and also my last visit to the US was in Jan this year and I stayed for 3 months. Yet they still gave me 6 months and I was thankful. This is my 3rd trip to the US. I was corresponding with a US citizen I met in the internet since January and I met him personally in November. I didn't intend to marry him when I came but we fell in love and would really like to be married without me having to leave the US. Can I still do this, get married maybe in Feb, and apply for adjustment of status, even with that "no AOS allowed" note on my I-94? What are my risks? What would you recommend I do best, considering that we really love each other and we want to be married soon? Thank you anyone who can help.
