    Possible deportation
Hi, in 2006 my 7 year old daughter was put in the state care, due to me not being from here and I could not work here, I traveled back and forth to my country to work. Now after 2 years we have finally been reunited, but she is still in the system and the worst part is she is autistic and I do not want to leave her to be a ward of the state, if I leave due to me not leaving the USA for the past 2 years I am afraid that if I was to leave I will not be able to return and they will put my little girl up for adoption. I love my little girl and want for us to remain together. Please I have no income to pay anyone because I am unable to work here due to not have a social security number or work permit. Please I am begging for someone to come to my aid, I am a very hard worker just need to be able to get my immigration status up-dated.

What is your immigration status? How did you enter US? Who's the father of your child? What is his legal status if he is US? Etc. Please provide more info.

I came in on a visa, but was only allowed to stay for 2 weeks. My visa does not expire until 2011. Her father is from the same country I am from, I married a US citizen but he was very abusive so I left him.

When you say... I came in on a visa, Is this a visitor's visa?

but was only allowed to stay for 2 weeks. My visa does not expire until 2011.
Let's make a clear understanding here... when you enter US at any port, it doesn't matter how many years your visa is, you are allowed to stay on for the period specified in I-94. Immigration officer will let you know... he will write on a little form and attach it to your passport. If he allowed you to stay for 2 weeks, but you stay longer than that, you are already overstayed. Though your visa page says it's valid until 2011, but since you violated the term, you already fall out of status.

When you married your US citizen husband, did he file any paper for you? What kind of abuse we are talking about? How long were you with him? Were you physically injured? How long were you with him? When did you file for a divorce? Tell me all the details..

Sorry I did not explain to you in detail regarding my entrance, my visa allows me to stay for 6 months at a time once I leave and return. But due to my ex-husband making false allegations against me and not being from this country my little girl was taken from me and was told that if I left this country she would be up for adoption.

Regarding my present husband the money he was to file for my paper work he took and I have never seen him to date. He was in prison and has just been release due to probation violation.

He was physical abusive to me and told me he would kill me if I tried to do anything about it, so I did not and have not said anything until now. Please I really need help!

I have just recently filed for divorce because he was in jail so I figured it would be safe, but now he is out and I do not know if he will try to find me.

We were only married for about 5 months before he left.

Have you ever filed police report when he abused you?
Did you go to the hospital for the injuries caused by him?
Did you ever contacted local shelter for help?
Were there any witnesses who might be willing to give statements that you married him and stayed with him during those months, but had to leave due to him being abusive?

Give me all the details, date and who did what, etc. Explain everything in details... Look in my profile and email me from there... I will get back to you as soon as I can.

NO! I was too scared, but I did call the police to escort him from my apartment when he broke my window. No hospital, no shelter and yes I do have people that can verify that we were together and to the abuse.
