    No power to Kenmore dishwasher
Yesterday, my Kenmore 665 dishwasher wouldn't get out the "clean" mode and the only operating was the drain function. I found (on here) how to reset it. That worked. It ran through a test cycle and then I ran it through a full cycle. Once completed, it shut off and now there is nothing. No lights, no operation... nothing. I tripped the breaker a few times and still nothing. Is there a reset or fuse or something on this? Based on the messages in here, contacting sears is not a wise option! Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Check the door safety switch to make sure it is working.

The door safety switch? Would that be located at the latch?

In general area of the door latch assembly. Most times the latch is in the door itself at the top. This switch prevents the unit from running with the door open.

There should still be activity on the unit, even with the door open. Under normal conditions, prior to closing the door, one would press the appropriate buttons to set the operations, close the door and then hit start on the outer panel. There is currently no "life" on the unit. It appears there is no power to the unit at all. Any ideas? I appreciate your help.

Usually the door latch cuts the main power to the unit as a safety precaution.

Since you do not feel that is the problem I suggest you get your electric meter out and start at the bottom of the unit at the junction box and start your voltage checks there. Then work your way up the unit door to the control center. This way you have to find the problem eventually.

I guess I have some work to do. I was hoping there was a quick switch or circuit to trip. I appreciate the help Happy Holidays.
