When I try to download some of my drivers that are missing a message comes up that says cannot find MMDriver.INF. Files needed to install drivers. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this file?

When I try to download some of my drivers that are missing a message comes up that says cannot find MMDriver.INF. Files needed to install drivers. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this file?
To install drivers, the MMDRIVER.INF file must be present in your Windows SYSTEM32 directory, You will need your Windows installation CD to replace this file.
Put the CD in the drive.
Go to Start / Run and enter cmd.exe in the Open box.
In the command prompt window enter the following:
Expand X:\I386\mmdriver.in_ %windir%\System32\mmdriver.inf
NOTE: Substitute the correct drive letter for X and leave a space between _ and %.
Hit the enter key.
Close the command prompt window and see if the file is now where it should be.
It happened to me... n I don't have xp cd.. this was what I did : I borrowed my friend comp and I click on local C go to 'windows' folder, system32 find the 'mmdriver.inf' copy put into your usbdisk and paste it into your comp with the same directory ( local C, sytem32 ), n done...
