I have been dying my hair a very light blonde for a long time, but today I put a light brown dye on my hair. This was a big mistake as now it has gone patchy and green. Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this problem?

You MUST pre-pigment your hair first - using a copper red colour wash. This can be a strong copper semi colour. Once this has been put through your hair for at least 20 minutes, shampoo off and dry through. Now your hair is ready to have a beautiful brunette permanent colour. Also choose a brunette that has a hint of warmth to keep feeding the bleached hair. If you do not pre- pigment the hair first, it will turn green!
