    Getting a name off Deed
I own a home with someone whose name is on the deed. All financial paperwork is in my name solely. No monies from this person were utilized to purchase the home, only my money was. The value of the home is much less than what we originally paid for the home so they have lost nothing. How do I go getting their name off the house deed this if they are not in agreement. What legal course do I have to take to make this happen?

The only way to get their name off the deed is for them to give you a new deed transferring their share of the property to you. If they refuse to do so then your only other option is to file a lawsuit for partition. That's where a judge orders that the property be sold and the proceeds be divided.

Yes remember depending on how the names are listed on the deed, they are part if not 1/2 owner of the property. So if you can not agree to buy them out of their share, you will have to see if the court will order the property sold,
