Safety regarding 600 amp (Single Phase ) service.
I have a Single Phase 600 amp service entering my basement below grade level and running into a CT cabinet. Above the cabinet is where the electric meter is located. I need to caulk behind the CT cabinet where the electric cables carrying the 600 amp service from the outside transformer are. Is it safe to work around these wires, or do I need to get the power company to shut off my power at my transformer, while I do the work?

There should be NOTHING exposed or dangerous there. If there is you have that to worry about before you caulk anything.

As long as you do not damage the wiring, cables or conduits you should be fine.
None of the equipment is open or exposed, is it?

Nothing is exposed. Three insulated wires running from the exterior conduit into the CT cabinet.

I can only assume three SE cables going to three 200A panels.
