Generally how much time does a person have to serve for violation of probation from not paying the fines, or doing the community service for a DUI probation. The initial probation term was for 6 months.

Any part of the original sentence that was suspended can be reinstated. Up to one year jail time and all fines/fees.

Why would you risk jail time instead of paying fines and doing community service? You could have your original sentence reinstated and serve that time in jail.
