Hi, I have a similar problem with my multimedia audio controller. I have the yellow ? Next to it and when I click on it all it tells me is:

Device type: other devices
Manufacturer: Unknown
Location: PCI Slot 3 (PCI bus 6, device 4, function 3)

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

I have a HP Pavilion DV8301nr. Can anyone Please help me with this?

I also have the same problems with my Mass Media Storage, Network Controller, PCI Modem, and My SM Bus Controller.

Your obviously missing these drivers on your laptop, they have probably been uninstalled or were never installed. All is not lost though as you can download all those drivers from the HP website freely:

Just select your operating system and choose the drivers you want.

the problem I have with that is when I click into windows x64, I have to download the application that restores quick boot and my quick boot is completely wiped off my hard drive so it can't be restored. Any other suggestions?
