    Implantation Bleeding
Ok so I know that Implantation bleeding can be mistaken for a period... but does anyone know if its possible to have implantation bleeding on the day you are supposed to be starting you're period? I was supposed to start my period today and I guess I did.. but its usually HEAVY the first day... sorry to sound gross... but it wasn't... and it is usually bright... but this time it was darker... it look like it usually does on the last day of my period... I don't know if this is how it is for most women or not?? Well thanks for reading and giving me advice!!

Okay, I need to make something clear here. Apparently most women think implantation bleeding occurs with every pregnancy. It should be noted that, although it does occur, does not happen with every woman or with every pregnancy. Acutally, the occurrence of implantation bleeding is not as common as comes across on this site. It all depends on when during your cycle your egg/eggs are actually fertalized.

    That being said...

The "typical", and I say typical according to textbook, periods actually begin bright and slack off to dark coloring. However, it is not uncommon for it to begin as a brownish color.

If you are very regular and were expecting to begin on this day, than more than likely it is only a regular period.

I am sorry if this is not what you were wanting to hear. I have read your other posts and I understand that you are trying... correct me if I am wrong... But in all honesty in all of my studies and looking through notes and books, this sounds as though it is a regular period.

Thanks... my periods vary from month to month... it either comes every 28 or 34 days!! If it is my regular period it truly isn't a huge letdown... I mean after I had an ovarian cyst Im just scared of getting another one... so the thought of ovulation now scares me... Although I know its natural... But thanks again!

This wesite will help you, but the best advice we can give you is to see your doctor.
It's the only body you have, get reassurance and take good care of it.

    All the best
