Usually, when I want to cheat on the Sims 2, and get a bit of extra money, I press the CNTRL+ SHIFT + C button, at the same time. It usually comes up, and you type in the cheat.

Now I have installed it again, when I press the buttons to bring up the cheat box, nothing happens.

Any tips?

Have you tried downloading the cheat codes to your system and then saving it. Sometimes I use the cheat codes disc, then I insert the game. I find that easier. What type of game system do you have?
