    Frozen generator
We have a Coleman generator that has been working just fine.

It has set outside in the bed of my pick up in 30 degree weather for a couple days.
I moved it off the truck into my carport to prepare for winter outages.
Last night the power went off so I proceeded to run the generator.

After setting it all up I went to pull the cord to start. I could not pull it! I am thinking the entire unit must be FROZEN from the cold.

Is that possible? If so, how do I thaw it out?

Bring it inside a warm room or warm garage to thaw out.

There could be debris or a piece of ice blocking the flywheel from turning around, or the cord could have gotten wet and is stiff or frozen to itself? Ours used to get chipmunks and food stuck in it
