    Getting evicted.what should I do?
Hello, this is my first time and hopefully last time I need to as this question. I have had an Eviction summons sent to me and my court date is 1/9/09. I never received a 5 day or quit notice from my landlord. Can she still do this? I have been paying late for the last 2 or 3 months because money has been very tight but I have never been a full month late before. I have read some post from landlords that their tennants are 2 months late. I tried contacting my landlord to let her know of my situation and telling her when I can have her rent (24th). When I go to court does any of this matter? Will I still lose the case? If so how long will I have to leave? I read I can pay her the late rent and all other fees and avoid eviction. Will this work? I am blabbing now but I am really worried and am in need of some advice... thanks ahead of time!

If you are all caught up by the court date they should not be able to evict you unless they have other reasons.

The summons says I need to pay 6% of rent, 50$ late fee and 65$ court cost... should I include all that in my payment?
