Ok, I started my period on Nov. 19,08. My boyfriend and I had sex for 18 days straight and yes he busted in me every time.. ive been throwing up in the mornings,my boobs are sore,and I've been going to the bathroom like every hour.. I started lightly bleeding brownish red yesterday Dec.15,08.when I woke up this morning (Dec. 16) I was bleeding a lot heavier and bright red/kind of pink with a few clots? My period is due soon.. wat do you think? Thanks so much

Yes you can. Best bet is to take a pregnancy test then you don't have to guess. See the dr asap because sometimes being pregnant and bleeding can be a bad thing.

No need to rush to the hospital quite yet. It just could be a stomach bug combined with the oncoming period. This is a time when I, as a nurse, take the wait and see approach. You need to take a HPT using first morning urine. But, in answer to your question, bleeding in early pregnancy is quite common.

18 days straight... ooohh... lovely I can't remember the last time I was so lucky :P haha. Well it is possible that this is your period and that because of all the activity it is a little more different then usual. Your not late and it is possible... I think I got pregnant both times between 8-5 days before my expected period then got implantation bleeding. I tested one month later and I was pregnant. Have you had any cramping or feelings of sickness or tiredness? Keep an eye on your symptoms. Are you ready for a baby? If you are start taking the materna pills and lay off anything unhealthy... if not what are your options? How old are you? This could be a scare and it could just be a weird period but we can't ignore possibility. You can get tested on January 7, 2009 if you are on the 21 day cycle or in most cases get tested on January 14, 2009 if you are on the 28 day cycle... use the early detection pregnancy test and test in the morning.

There is a possibility you are pregnant. But I must warn you. The facts are that, a good percentage of miscarriages happen in the earlier months, so if a baby is what you want, I suggest a visit to the doctor. It could be your period, but to be safe, take it easy. Get lots of rest and avoid very hot baths. There is something called a threatened miscarriage. Be sure to get rest and see a doctor anyway, even if a baby is not what you want. If it is indeed a baby something may be wrong or may not be, but to be safe consult a doctor.
