    Need to evict step-son
What is the process someone would go through in order to evict an adult child? My husband and I own our house together, but my husband might not completely agree with my doing this; although he might not stand in the way, he also might not cooperate. My only other solution is a restraining order at this point in order to have him kept away from me and the house.

If there is violence, if there are threats, then file for a restraining order - you obviously have to be able prove what you are alleging.

As far as eviction - it varies by State. It will be a difficult to evict him if your husband is not in agreement.

If the husband would allow him to stay, you can not evict.
But notice has to be given, and if they don't move, you file for eviction in court.

But if anytime during this dad says he can stay, it starts your time frame all over again.
