I am going to school to be a lawyer but I am now trying to get my batchelor degree in criminal justice is this a good idea?

Depends, what type of lawyer do you want to be, Accounting is a good field, if you want to work more in antoher area, social science or political science.

As long as you get a bachelor's degree, the area isn't really important. Mine was European history. Friends of mine in law school had other areas, such as poli sci, business and one had philosophy.

If you plan on doing tax law then you should absolutely get your bachelor's in accounting. Otherwise just go for whatever interests you the most. I suggest that you take some courses in logic and public speaking. Those will really help.

I think you should stay as a lawyer, if your wondering which one I'd say a corporate lawyer, they make the most and it is a very interesting job. It is good to see people in the world getting good jobs like you. Keep up the good work and follow your dreams!!
