Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan & PDA's universal remote
Hello, I own a HP PDA (rx3115) and a hampton bay light/fan. The PDA comes with infrared, and one of the functions I use it for is a replacement for all of my remotes.

Anyway, the device code for the fan isn't listed in the choises that the PDA comes with. I was wondering if it is possible to some how control my fan from my pda. Please let me know if you have any experience or advice for my situation

    Thanks.

    skh.

If it has a fan function, I presume so. You have to set the frquency of the PDA to match the frequency of the fan, or vice versa. I have no idea how to do that on the PDA. The fan has a set of dip switches that set the frequency.
