Will I ever break this cycle?
I am a male 32 yrs old, throughout my life from a child to an adult I have had nothing but bad luck from school to work even relationships. I get along well with people and have a lot of friends, I try to treat people the way I would like to be treated, I work hard and try to put forth my best effort. But it seems that I always get the short end of the stick. Is this the way it suppose to be or am I doing something wrong? Will I ever break this cycle?

    Hi, gambit1!

It already sounds like you have a lot going for you. Would you care to provide some specifics as far as things that have happened that have lead you to feel and think the way that you do, please?

    Thanks!

Hello dear one - yes, there is something you can do. You sound like a nice person by the way - and you will do well to do some self-esteem work. This is simply some self-affirmations to change your ideas and self-concepts that you can do on your own. I started by reading the daily affirmations book by Ernest Holmes and they have helped me tremendously and in the work I do. You deserve to have a good life and to feel good about yourself - and to have things turn out well. The thing is that there is a way of thinking - and knowing - that can help you as you go along your life. But it is a skill that you can learn and improve upon. Not luck, but your own ability to believe and trust in yourself in a more positive way.

Write again and say how you are doing.
