    balancing a chemical word equation
I need help converting this word equation into a formula equation and balancing. :(

Aluminum Sulfate reacts with Calcium hydroxide to produce Aluminum hydroxide and Calcium Sulfate.

    Thanks so much! :)

    Hello Kat !

Well : as it is YOUR homework, you have to do the preliminary work yourself : you can start posting here in a follow-up post the chemical formulas for Aluminum Sulfate, Calcium hydroxide, Aluminum hydroxide, and Calcium Sulfate.
(if you don''t know them, just "google'' them).

I'll try to help you from there on.

    :)
