Can I file Head of Household
I have been living with someone for 1 1/2 and we are unmarried. I support her 100% financially. Can I get any benefit on my taxes? She is covered by my benefits.

If a qualified dependent is living with you and you may more than half of the expenses of keeping the home, then you can claim head of household.
The qualifying person must be your qualifying child or relative.

    Agreed!

You can claim your roommate as a dependent, but your filing status will be SINGLE, not Head of Household.

If you want to change that, you have 16 days to get hitched, in which case you can then file Married Filing Jointly.
