    Water well problems
I have a water well that is about 2 and half years old not sure how deep it is, but anyway my wife turned the faucet on and we had no water we had just washed clothes, dishwasher was going I went outside and checked the breaker breaker was on took the cap off the pressure regulator switch and the circuit was on I sat there and watched it for a little bit I had no water pressure then the pump came on for about 10 seconds I turned the water hose on ran it for 10 seconds no water pressure contactors still touching. Today I was looking at it water pressure was good 55 went down to 40 came on and shut off normal ran it a little more and the contactors were touching for the pump to stay on pump would run 10 seconds then it would shut off contactors still touching it seemed like every minute or so it would come on and slowly build up pressure so what is my problem dry well bad water pump bad pressure regulator?

Sounds like the overload breaker in the pumps shutting you down. This would point to a faulty winding in the motor that's heating up enough to trip the pumps overload breaker. Have the pump checked. Good luck, Tom
