Hi there, I live in Melbourne Australia and a friend of mine is being forced to pay a loan which appently they "signed" for. This person tells me that they didn't sign the document and I believe them. I was just wondering how one would go about proving the signature wasn't made by them? Thank you.

You hire a handwriting expert, someone approved by the Court. Signature samples are taken and compared and the expert writes an (expert) opinion for the use of the Court.
