I want to replace my old honeywell thermostat with a new hunter thermostat. The old one is connected as follows brown wire to X, white wire to W2, red to R, Green to G, Yellow to Y, and blue to B. the new hunter thermostat has connections for G, RC, RH, Y/O, W/B, and Y1.how do I connect the new thermostat?

I find it very hard to understand,why a person would want to replace a honeywell tstat with a Hunter,, I would rather have a broken honeywell tstat over a Hunter of any kind,, but hang in there someone will help you I`m sure. Does Hunter not put any instructions in or with their tstats

What model hunter do you have? What type of heat and cool do you have: heat pump with heat strips, heat pump with furnace, furnace with AC, etc.
