That's an inspiring question. I'd suggest possibly contacting your State agencies such as Corrections or often there's a Small Business Administration telphone number to call.

There are no such grants, there are some grants for businesses, but do not expect them to cover the entire cost. Most are tax breaks for certain areas and more.

Fr_Chuck's correct I'm sure that there are no grants for felons/ex-felons specifically so they can start a business.
