Looking for Song Title/Artist/Writer from the 60-70's
Hi,
I've been searching for this song that is probably from the late 60's or the 70's and I can't find anything when doing a lyric search. I've got most of the lyrics here though some were hard to hear and they therefore aren't complete. I don't know song title or artist so I'm hoping someone will recognize the lyrics. I've also got an audio file but it was too big to attach so I'll have to re-record a portion of it to post if no one recognizes the song.
Hey lady you don’t have to tell me your name
You eyes move? Fast while your face stays just the same
Don’t you ever wonder if the worrying is all in vain
Why don’t you make up your mind
Why don’t you make up your mind
Did you always? As well as to be a star
When you got due attention did they tell you you’d go far
Bought you and broke you to find out what you are
Do you think you got what you deserve
Do you think you got what you deserve
Do you have this dream
That a magazine
That mentioned her by name
And who?
At the press reception
They talked of things to come
The stars of fame and no other claim
And lovers had a turn
Ohh how they liked you
How then could they spite you
That was the moment she woke up
Do you lunch with business men
And light their fat cigars
Or simply? In the corner of some old bar
Did you always?? As well as be a star
Will you ever find out who you are
Will you ever find out who you are
