    Always restart
Could somebody lend me a hand? I don't know what's wrong with my laptop.
It always restart every 40 min. I just think this must be a virus, but don't know what is it, or how to heal it. Well, its also fatal for me, cause I bought the laptop without the recovery disk to cut some of the price. Thanks

I think it may be a problem with laptops and overheating or something. Mine did the same thing and it was annoying.
Can you take it back to the store or a computer repair shop to have it figured out?

Mine did that and it was overheating, I just turned the laptop over and used a can of compressed air to blow a few times into the fan port on the underside.

    It hasn't overheated since.

It could be a power supply problem, a virus, over heating or to flash the BIOS.

Most newer computers, desktop or laptops, do not ship a Recovery/Restore CD. Not knowing which one you have, go to the manufacter's site, Support and it should tell you how to make your own set. Also at the site, youshould be able to find out if the BIOS needs to flashed - updated.

    With Internet Explorer, go to:

    http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/d...d=ie&venid=sym

Click the GO button, then under Virus Detection, click Start. You might be told that you need to download and install ActiveX Controls for the scan to work, answer Yes.

Write down exactly anything it finds, then go to: : and do a search for what was found. Symantec usually has a removal tool and/or directions for removing manually. Make sure that you follow the instructions for removal, step by step, especially the part regarding disabling System Restore.

    Hope this helps!
