    P-Trap
I have a townhouse with a rough-in for a shower in the basement. Would the rough-in already have a p-trap in the drain-line. Is there any way to verify if it exists?

    Thanks

Yes there is. If there's a pipe sticking up out of the cement then that's the traps raiser/stub-up.
We install the trap under the cement and stub-up to pick up a shower drain.
Sounds like you already have a trap installed. Regards, tom
