I am 16 years old and I have had a misscarage and an abortion in the last two years after this my periods were fine and now I haven't had one for 4 months but I am no pregnant please help me

Unpredictable periods are not uncommon. It can be tied to stress, nutrition, mental health, physical health, illness, hormone changes. A woman can be absolutely "regular and predictable" and then suddenly not be...

On and on and on.

There's just no simple answer.

Are you on or using any birth control? Any meds? Any drugs? Any changes is your life? Diet? Health?

That happened to my mom. But she didn't get it for a year then got it regularly then stopped for months then she'd get it. It happens. She missed having her period because when she went without it she'd have horrible mood swings and stuff. The doctor told her that if she wasn't having the mood swings and stuff that is would be normal and OK, but they gave her a pill that she has to take for her period to come. She takes them for two days at the end of the month and BAM it comes.


If you want to get your period go to your obgyn, if you are concerned go to your obgyn... but its probably nothing. Oh and I don't know how old you are but my mom started to get weird periods when we were 28 and didn't get it fixed until she was 37. So it wasn't menopause.
