Landlord tenant law state of Florida
I have a tenant that has failed to pay rent, I have served them with their 3 day notice and they have not paid. Once I file the request for eviction with the courts how long dies it take before they are served with the eviction notice?

There needs to be a hearing before a Judge in order for the eviction to proceed. When you go to the courthouse to file the eviction paperwork, you should be given a court date at that time.

They will be served with a court date, at the court date the judge will give them a number of days to get out.
