Can I seal a joint leak in PVC pipe?
Hi I repaired a waste drain and used PVC to do it after it was complete I found a leak in the elbow. Is there an epoxy or some product to save me a repeat of the labor. Thanks in advance for yor help.

The glue used for PVC actually dissolves the PVc and makes a weld so it is not a great glue for the surface. HGowever, since this is a waste pipe there will be very little to no pressure so clean the pipe with primer and then swipe on some PVC glue. Allow to cure over night since it isn't a weld.

    Hi all..

You can try the pvc primer and cement Ballenger mentioned above. If that fails then run to home depot and pick up a tube of PLASTIC EPOXY. Then rough up the surface of the fitting/pipe and spread the epoxy on. That will fix it for sure!
