    240 volt breaker not working
Hi guy, I got a ballast that work on 120volt and 240 volt,
    I use NC230 from stab-lok on my stab-lok panel
When I plug the ballast on 120v black wire on breaker , white on neutral bar and ground... on ground bar.. the ballast works perfectly...
When I set the ballast to 240V ( its just a single wire to plug or unplug)
Black and white wire on the breaker and the ground ( copper) to the ground bar... nothing works...

Is there something I should do or something maybe I don`t know

    Thanks you for your help.

I'm not sure how you are testing this, and hopefully this is just for testing purposes.

Are you sure the breaker is contacting both legs of the panel? It is not that hard to install a stab-lock breaker incorrectly so that the two prongs are contacting the same buss.

Use your meter and CAREFULLY measure the voltage across the two terminals of the breaker.

That for you answer, the pole wher on the same buss, when I correct that, the ballast start to work, exactly as expexted,
Thanks for make me learn that the pole have to be on separate buss.

    Thanks you really much
